Well HELLO THURR~ I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.

This past week I've been lamenting over the fact that I wear just too much blue/beige/black. So I decided that I will not buy anything blue from now on, and try to wear other colours instead. I'm getting a little sick of seeing a sea of navy everytime I look into my wardrobe, so I decided to put together a look with no blue in it at all.

You see the thing is, I really like these colours; I'm just too self concious to try wearing them. It's because I know I'll stick out like a sore thumb, because the colours are so bright lol. But I'm honestly hating getting dressed in the mornings nowadays because I just don't want to wear what I usually wear!

Next time I go shopping, I'm going to buy clothes in these colours. Especially that skirt! LOVE that green! I have a plain mustard top already, so I will try to incorporate that into my usual attire, just to brighten up those dull days at the end of winter/the start of spring.

Have you been stuck in a style rut too? Made any changes to your wardrobe lately? Let me know in the comments below! (^__^)

  1. I wanna wear long skirts in summer but I think I might look odd. Don't know why I think that because so many girls wear them! Maybe because I've never worn one :( I love the yellow sweater!

    1. Wear them! Who cares what anyone else thinks? Nobody is saying buy ten and wear them all, try buying one and seeing how it feels like! :) xx

  2. Really love this look. I've never worn mustard myself cos I don't think it suits my skin but I always like seeing it on other people. It goes so well with the deep green you chose too. Sarita x

  3. I used to wear blue all the time. I would go out in an ensemble of navys and blues (blue shoes, jeans, blue hoodie, blue jacket and a blue bag) but I'm starting to dabble in the world of colour too. Deep red is my current favourite :)

    1. LOL this is me in a nutshell. Except I'd throw in black sometimes too. OOOH I like the sound of deep red! :O I actually havent got any red in my wardrobe, apart from one dress and a maxi skirt, though that's more for summer tbh. I think I will try and incorporate more red in too! ^^ Thanks Vanessa! xx

  4. Hello! I discovered your blog on #bbloggers blog hop (and am now following!). Love this look - stylish without looking like you've tried too hard :P I'm sort of the opposite - I usually try and wear too many colours - I need to tone it down a tad at times! P.s. I'm a fan of your writing style - keep it up! xx

  7. Good for you, that green is a good sort of in-between colour to ease you in before you move onto the super-brights :)You should definitely go for the yellow jumper too through, it'll be really nice for Spring. I find that with a lot of really bright colours, the problem is finding things to go with them.
I love pastels for the warmer months too.
