Well HELLO THURR~ I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.

This past week I've been lamenting over the fact that I wear just too much blue/beige/black. So I decided that I will not buy anything blue from now on, and try to wear other colours instead. I'm getting a little sick of seeing a sea of navy everytime I look into my wardrobe, so I decided to put together a look with no blue in it at all.

You see the thing is, I really like these colours; I'm just too self concious to try wearing them. It's because I know I'll stick out like a sore thumb, because the colours are so bright lol. But I'm honestly hating getting dressed in the mornings nowadays because I just don't want to wear what I usually wear!

Next time I go shopping, I'm going to buy clothes in these colours. Especially that skirt! LOVE that green! I have a plain mustard top already, so I will try to incorporate that into my usual attire, just to brighten up those dull days at the end of winter/the start of spring.

Have you been stuck in a style rut too? Made any changes to your wardrobe lately? Let me know in the comments below! (^__^)

Modestly Stylish: Peaches and Cream ☺

Modestly Stylish: Peaches and Cream

Can you believe it's already July and it's still raining here in England? Alas, it seems like Summer has forgotten to visit us this year. Or maybe she's mad because on her last visit we were all dying for the rain instead.. xD

But fear not! There is still time left for her to come :P In the mean time, I shall be cranking out the summery outfit posts. I'm getting into lighter, peachy/pinky/corally type colours now.
Subconcious, wishful thinking? Probably. *sigh* I just want to wear my skirts already. >.<

Also, I really want that blush. Every time I walk into Topshop I swatch this. It's so pretty! It looks neon in the pan but on the cheeks it gives a lovely flush of colour (^__^)

Have you had your eye on anything lately?

Modestly Stylish: Teal & Coral ☺

Modestly Stylish: Teal & Coral

I've really been into teals, turquoises, corals, and pinks lately. I don't know why, because I tend to stick to my dark blues and beige kind of shades. Maybe it was the few days of sun we had a while ago.

On the make up front, although I haven't been wearing much (not that I wear a lot anyway..) I've really been loving my lip butters  Macaroon, in particular. Goes on like a dream and has AMAZING pigmentation. Plus, I just love the name, haha!
I definitely recommend it if you have pigmented lips!

Sigh. Honestly though, why is it whenever I post an outfit post it is always bucketing it down while I sit here pining for the sun, and complaining about the weather like the typical Brit I am? >.<

Ah well. One can only hope that sunshine is just around the corner, In Shaa Allah (^__^)

Am I the only one who is wondering when the rain is going to stop? I for one, can't wait until I can start wearing my maxi skirts again ♥ at least not without freezing to death and/or coming into the house looking like a wet, bedraggled cat that's been left out in the storm overnight. (-__-)

Anyone else out there longing to pull out their summer clothes yet? Or is it just me?
